When you book your first appointment, you can relax knowing that our expert tools will make your brows shine. Unless you get add-ons to your session, you don’t need to do anything special beforehand.
That said, there are some things you can do to prepare.
How should you prepare for a brow tint?
You don’t need to do anything particular for brow tinting. Look at some shapes you think would flatter your face and bring an open mind.
If you’re getting a wax or lamination, you’ll want to take a few crucial steps. Discontinue using retinol, AHAs/BHAs, hydroquinone, and benzoyl peroxide products 10 days prior to your appointment. These chemicals make your skin sensitive to other treatments.
Give your skin a break from chemical or intense exfoliation for at least a week. And if you’re taking Accutane, you’ll need a six-month break before waxing.
If you’re planning a big weekend out, give yourself 48 hours to let it fade naturally. Book early in the week!
If you’re planning a spray tan, you’ll want to get your hybrid brows first. We exfoliate the skin during this treatment which will affect your tan.
What can you expect from a hybrid brow tinting session?
When you come in, we’ll work through mapping and brow sculpting before applying the tint. Because it goes on your skin and hair, we’ve got to have a clear image of the final product.

Brow tint aftercare tips for best results
After your treatment, be gentle with yourself. You shouldn’t engage in sweaty activities because the tint is still settling in. Even though it’s tempting, don’t touch them with your fingers, and avoid steam and hot showers.
Avoid rubbing or exfoliating the area while doing your skincare routine, and avoid products with heavy oils. All of these things will fade the skin stain faster.
